Comb-clawed Beetle - Capnochroa fuliginosa

Comb-clawed Beetle - Capnochroa fuliginosa
Richmond Hill, York Region, Ontario, Canada
July 22, 2007
Size: 13 mm
One for Ontario. Resting on a leaf in a forest clearing.

Identified based on comments here.

Who ID'd, please?
Would like to know how the identification was arrived at. Thank you.

I ID'd it myself...
based on the relatively large size and short, blunt pronotal angles (pointed to by Donald S. Chandler in other comments). Only one species in this genus occurs in my area, according to the CNC checklist.
