Bowls and doilies on the roadside - Frontinella pyramitela

Bowls and doilies on the roadside - Frontinella pyramitela
Weaver Dunes, Wabasha County, Minnesota, USA
July 2, 2010
My notes from Weaver Dunes, 2010 read:
"Sheetweb weaver spiders (family Linyphiidae, subfamily Linyphiinae) seem to like building their webs on tall dead plant stalks on the shoulder of Pritchard's Rd. Their webs are really cool-looking." ID based on shape of web and close resemblance to photos here on BG of F. communis.
