Stink or Shield Bug?? - Proxys punctulatus

Stink or Shield Bug?? - Proxys punctulatus
Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA
July 28, 2007
Size: 1/2"
What kind of bug is this? It looks black with one single white spot on it's back. These bugs are all over my Japanese Blueberry Tree (it's blooming tiny white flowers). All of them have this single dot on their backs. The legs are striped and so is the antennae. This bug has 2 sharp points on it's shield shaped body. It's 1/2 inch long, not including antennae. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

That looks a lot like this bug, but I think the black stink bug looks more like it. Notice the prominent bands of black on the legs. Also, this bug doesn't appear to have the alternating squares of color around the edge of its body. But then I'm no expert. Maybe I'm overlooking something.
