Ophiogomphus severus

Ophiogomphus severus
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
July 11, 2007
Size: 5 cm
I believe this is Ophiogomphus severus, Pale Snaketail. I had these on pathways along the Saskatchewan River. We also found them along the Bow and Elbow in Calgary and along the Red Deer River in Drumheller and Brooks areas.

Yep
These are indeed Pale Snaketails, although they should be unlinked b/c they are not the same individual. There is a guide page for this species already where you can move these photos.

Moved
to Pale Snaketail.
