Size: 5-7mm
This tiny insect was found while cutting pepper while making a salad. The green pepper was purchased from a local supermarket.

Appears to be the back end of a caterpillar.

Possibly a cutworm
Possibly a cutworm (moth caterpillar) but I am not certain of this. They are known pests on peppers.

Thank you. It was so small we weren't sure it wasn't just a brown discolored spot on the inside of the pepper. We almost ate it.
