Eastern Hercules Beetle? - Dynastes tityus - Male
Camdenton, MO - Outside the Ozarkland souvenir shop, Camden County, Missouri, USA

Size: 2"
I found this large beetle clinging to the wall outside the Ozarkland souvenir shop in Camdenton, MO. Is it an Eastern Hercules Beetle? Have they been found as far west as Missouri?

Yes.
Yes to both questions. I found a fair number in only one summer in Forsyth, Missouri.
