Squash Bug - Anasa armigera

Squash Bug - Anasa armigera
Norris City, White County, Illinois, USA
July 30, 2007
Size: Approx. 1/2 in. long
I couldn't locate a good match for this insect in the guide pages. It and several others just like it were roaming around on the leaves of a cucumber plant in my back yard.

Moved
Moved from Squash Bugs.

I'd like to call it Anasa armigera...
^^

Neither.
This is a squash bug in the genus Anasa, family Coreidae.

I Should Have Known
That it was neither when I couldn't find anything even close to it in the guide pages. Thanks for the quick ID, Eric!
