Mating Ambush Bugs - male - female

Mating Ambush Bugs - Male Female
Darbydale, Franklin County, Ohio, USA
July 26, 2007
Size: male- 6mm, female- 8mm
Seen at the public hunting area just west of Darbydale along Darby Creek. Earlier in the day, only the two on the bottom were together, a few hours later I came back and the other male (I assume) had climbed on. I wonder if the first male is hanging around where he is to prevent the second from mating with the female?
