Acrea moth?
I'm not a moth expert, but I peeked into "Whatsthatbug.com" and found an Acrea moth photo that looks very similar to this one. Astigmene acrea. That particular one was in California... not exactly Newfoundland Canada! The range could be a major issue. Check it out and tell me what you think. :)
