"I don't have anything resembling the mystery
Osphya
in my collection (but, I don't have many specimens for the entire genus....). It doesn't match the description of
O. essigi
Van Dyke, and doesn't match
O. lutea
either. My best guess is that it might be a Mexican species -- Champion described one or two in the Biologia I think... or maybe something entirely new! Cool critter in any case...."

Wish I could take credit for the ID...
...but it was made by the very knowledgeable Boris Büche elsewhere. He mentioned maybe essigi or a dark-winged lutea if that exists? Would be very good to confirm either way for BG.
