Madera Canyon.
I'm going there tomorrow. Sure hope to finally catch a few of these! They are huge, for those not familiar with them (family Buprestidae). Also extremely alert, so good job of getting this image.

Thanks. Hope you had fun at Madera. I was at Florida on the 2nd, and went blacklighting at Madera and Box on the 3rd-4th. Do you know which species of Hippomelas this is?
