Pretty sure this is an adult female Phidippus clarus.

My guess was based on vague similarity in coloring, only, on the back. But looking again, I see you have another great picture, that more closely matches:

Don't know how I missed that the first time. And they *are* all that cute! I love your series showing the growth of one spider. Also love the picture of the spider in the graveyard (which I can't find at the moment) - kind of a spidery Halloween pageant.

Since I've found her, I've only seen her twice. Hoping for more and now that I've seen the changes you illustrate, hoping to see those dramatic colors, later.
