Bee -
Andrena helianthi
Riverton, Fremont County, Wyoming, USA
September 15, 2016
Size: 1.5cm
I am having great difficulty identifying this insect other than "bee". I would appreciate any help. This individual was found on a sunflower plant. I believe it is a female.

Female - Mining Bee
Nice shooting! She looks very similar to a
Sunflower Andrena
,
Andrena helianthi
. (widespread) Let's see what the experts say. If confirmed, a first for your state, congrats!
