Drumming Katydid
This is a Drumming Katydid - Meconema thalassinum, an introduced species from Europe. They were only known from a couple New England states up until last year when a few were found in British Columbia.

just a guess
It looks like one I had identified a while back, which was a tree cricket. If it's not, it's really similar.
