Wasp larva…
I think that it would be a fair assumption that this is a wasp larva, possibly a polysphinctid. Since much time has elapsed since you found it, can you pls describe or mention what happened to it - did it survive and pupate, or die from exposure?

Sorry.
When opening a cocoon and exposing the larva, I've had very poor success with continued rearing. In the past I have tried to patch a cocoon or put the larva into a gelatin capsule, to no avail. In this case I put the larva into alcohol.
