Phantom Crane Fly - Bittacomorpha clavipes

Phantom Crane Fly - Bittacomorpha clavipes
Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada
I have recorded a couple of video clips where it's walking (very interesting)also small clip of it flying, and cleaning it's front legs.
Love the way this thing flies.

Does our eastern species
make it to Alberta? We seem to remember reading about a western species. Even thought we had an image from out west at one time, but can't see what happened to it.
