Mystery Green Crickets - Meconema thalassinum - male

Mystery Green Crickets - Meconema thalassinum - Male
Coquitlam, Lower Mainland, British Columbia, Canada
August 2, 2007
Size: two inches inc. antenna
Another cricket in my apartment.

Check out Meconema thalassinum - Drumming Katydid
in the guide here while you wait to hear from Eric. Seems to fit his description.

Bingo.
Drumming katydids are very distinctive in appearance, and that is what this is. It is an introduced (from Europe) species that is apparently now well-established in BC, as well as New England.

Can't help with ID
...but these two photos are not of the same individual, so the photos should not be linked.
