Grass Miner Moths - Antaeotricha leucillana
Henrico County, Virginia, USA
August 4, 2007
Size: 18 mm (each approx. 9 mm)
At first I thought this was a bird dropping but then I noticed a leg or two sticking out. What amazing camouflage and they are very pretty. I think these are Grass Miner moths, Antaeotricha schlaegeri. Could someone confirm? Thank you.
