I think this is Melanoplus punctulatus, can anyone confirm? Color is washed out because of the camera flash.

I don't think that this is
Melanoplus punctulatus
. I think this is
Dissosteira carolina
. The deeply notched pronotum (top of the thorax) is diagnostic. The color of this one is quite unique, having the green undertones. Good picture.
