Black & Yellow Argiope (Argiope aurantia) - Argiope aurantia

I was walking along the trails by the lake looking for dragonflies to photograph when I spotted this Black and Yellow Argiope. The web was huge. I took the photo against the sky using flash and thus, the white background. I rotated the image 90 degrees to accomodate viewing on monitor. (Don't know if it is male or female, but I do have photos from both sides). CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW LARGER.
