Size: 1 1/2 to 2 cm
I came across these beetles on our Blazing Star flowers in the late afternoon. I was wondering if they are longhorned beetles of some type.

Yes...thank you so much for the link. In hindsight, the pronotum should have been a clue that they were soldier beetles, but those antennae had me mixed up. I don't think I ever would have found the right genus. Thank you very much. :)
