Spider on the sand - Pardosa
Jones Beach State Park, Nassau County, New York, USA

Size: About half an inch
A little surprising to see something like this in the sand at this time of year, but it was abnormally warm out. I didn't have my macro lens out so I had to use a 400mm lens that had an extremely distant closest focus, crop it in and lighten the photo. Habitat: Sand and Phragmites
