Neuroptera.

Seen in the CO foothills at about 6400' elevation. Swept from a bush by a friend. Possibly a Brown lacewing? Most lacewings in BugGuide have definite necks, but this image shows head tucked under. Any help with this mystery insect is much appreciated.

Moved from Megalomus.

The costal area is too narrow for the Megalomus of Colorado, and the venation isn't dense enough.
