It could be!
There are a few that look similar to this. Close-ups of forebody and elytra, ideally showing presence/absence of microsculpture could help narrow it down. I'm sure one of our resident photo-voucher experts such as Peter would be willing to key it out, too.

A member of Bembidion versicolor group indeed.
Roughly four species from this group (including familiar B. impotens) are given CA status by YB 2012 but B. versicolor is not among them.
Yes, I still accept specimens on a limited basis for the purpose of photo-vouchering. As a side note, I'm getting way more proficient in determining the caraboids of western North America with the thorny exception of California. Taxonomically that state remains remarkably challenging for all carabidologists!
