Small Staphylinid... - Apocellus

Size: ~ 3 mm
Came to U/V lights at night. This small Staphylinid has its upper head, thorax and elytra looking like it had been lacquered, its so brilliant and glossy. Confirmation/correction, and further placement would be appreciated.
