Something living in a mouse - Cuterebra

Something living in a mouse - Cuterebra
Siren, Burnette County, Wisconsin, USA
August 6, 2007
Size: 3/4 inch
My dog caught this mouse, and when I was throwing it away, I noticed something coming out of it. I removed it and noticed one more still inside. Can anyone help me with this?

Cool yet gross
Nice find, but seriously, thats revolting

Rodent Bot flies
I have seen these before in mice and squirrels. Maybe someone else here can help you out more on an exact name.

Cuterebra.
As far as I know, only species in the genus Cuterebra afflict rodents. Great, I'm having lunch now....:-)
