Margined Carrion Beetle on leg of deer carcass - Oiceoptoma noveboracense
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA

There were quite a few of these interesting beetles on and around this deer carcass. I saw many flying. The carcass dated back to November's hunting season, so it was pretty dried out.
