Size: Body length 6mm
ID for this specimen was provided by BOLD Systems via DNA. DNA for this specimen is a 99.82% match with 99++ specimens of species Chironomus maturus.

Townes considered Chironomus maturus a synonym of decorus. I will wait on splitting the decorus group here until I see more identified specimens.
