sorry, this one didn't get attached earlier

unlinked
Since this is a female Fritillary, and the other is a male, they are different individuals. They are unlinked now, but I don't want to illiminate the association of the pair, the male being here:

I'm really worried about anno
I'm really worried about annoying some of the more experienced contributors of this site, but I'm having trouble...someone quickly identified this butterfly for me but when I click on my images or recent images it only shows my original photos and my comments. How do I get back to comments and ids that others have offered?

And I posted a photo of a pink and cream coloured moth which I KNOW already exists on this site, but I can't get back to the original picture of that either. What am I missing regarding the navigation of Bugguide?

Well, you're not annoying me.
On this post, I clicked on the other photo and found the ID. Often, I have five photos on a post and sometimes click on each one to see who's left which comment where. (A tangentially related stupid problem I and others have is making a comment, then not clicking Post Comment at the end. Result is No Comment! when you're sure you've made one.)

Separately and earlier, I commented a bit on your moth photo re: finding things. There's so much here it's easy to get frustrated. (I'm presently faced with going through 70 pages of flies to run one down!)

While it took me several months to figure this out, the Help tab is actually access to a sort of user's manual. Check it out, and you'll be enlightened in some areas at least.

The rest will come in time. Hope you do stick around!

The identification comment
from Dr Tony Thomas is simply on the other image. Click on your other photo and you will find his comment. One reason that you don't see the pink moth photo that you saw yesterday in ID Request is that images get moved from ID Request to a page for that species in the guide. We just did that with your pink Schinia moth. You won't find it in ID Request, even though you just saw it there ten minutes ago, because it is now on the Schinia page.

For your own images, that is never a problem since at the top right corner of the screen you will find a link that says "Your Images". Click on that and you will be taken to an array of your images in the reverse order that you posted them. Click on your pink moth and the taxonomy across the top of the page will tell you exactly where in the guide it is. Click on IMAGES and see all the other images of that species in the guide. Click on DATA and see when and where those other images were taken. Click on INFO and, depending how much effort was put into making the page that corresponds to your insect, you will see synonymy, and range and food preferences and web links, etc.

Take your time. Enjoy wandering around the site. You will find all sorts of useful things.

Thank you Ron, John and Jane
Thank you Ron, John and Jane for the information. I'll print it out and work my way through the site. It IS a great site but just requires some work learning to navigate it. I'm thoroughly enjoying everyone's expertise and enthusiasm...and their help.
