Gregarious spider - Pardosa

Gregarious spider - Pardosa
Menzies Bay, British Columbia, Canada
March 19, 2017
Size: under 1 cm.
This spider was one of a colony living in a small pile of dead sticks caught behind a root on an otherwise barren, rocky shore, just above the tide line. There were no webs apparent. When I approached, the whole group scattered and hid under the sticks; this one ventured out after a while. What spider likes company?
