Synonyms and other taxonomic changes
Jason reports: Chris Schmidt did a revision of Grammia (published in 2009) in which G. celia (8187) was placed in synonymy under G. figurata. However, many specimens that have been called G. celia in the past belong to other species.
Range
Central and eastern United States, north to Quebec and Ontario.
Food
Caterpillars: Alfalfa, plantain, and other low-growing plants.
