3 spp. in our area(1), 9 spp. total(2), but the genus needs revision(3) (there may be fewer spp. --E.G. Riley, pers.comm.)
Range
New World, mostly Neotropical(2); in our area, D. guttata east of the Rockies, D. barberi FL, D. lecontii TX-CA(1)
Food
larvae and adults feed on plants in the morning glory family (Convolvulaceae)
