Size: 4-5 mm
On grape leaf in wet meadow. The only Deloyala species in Ontario. Variable color; see examples on this page and the two that follow it.

Yes, thanks. I included that common name when creating the Guide page in March but forgot to change the title of my posted image - which I did just now.

Hey I just thought I'd let you know that the beetle you found is a Mottled Tortoise Beetle. I had been searching for these bugs for years...and when I finally found one, this is the one I found. I'm not really sure what mine are eating, but I keep finding them in my pool.
