Is this large, dark damselfly a Black Spreadwing?

Is this large, dark damselfly a Black Spreadwing?
Santa Rosa, California, USA
April 9, 2017
This picture was taken at Nagasawa Park in Santa Rosa, where I saw a lot of large, dark damselflies at the "ephemeral pond" near the parking lot that I believe are Black Spreadwings (not just me, a local expert said there were black spreadwings there).

But is there any chance this large damselfly is something else, maybe a California spreadwing? Hard to tell from this angle, sorry I don't have a second or better picture of this individual.
