Newly hatched Eacles imperialis larvae - Eacles imperialis
Bellevue, Sarpy County, Nebraska, USA

These E. imperialis larvae hatched just today. They are about 8 hours old. They will be feeding on maple leaves (Acer), but were photographed on a pine needle for reference.
