Black widow spider ? - Latrodectus hesperus

Size: a little over 1 "
I was out in the backyard about 10 at night when I saw this spider on a fence curious about the ants that were running below him on the sidewalk . I did not see a web . We do have Black widow spiders around , but they are all black with the red hourglass shape on their stomach ... could this be a juvenille ? Is it poisonous ?

Yes
an immature female western widow. Sometimes adult females retain their dorsal markings, though.
