Spilosoma virginica? - Spilosoma

Spilosoma virginica? - Spilosoma
Burlington Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
August 1, 2006
Size: about 1.5 cm long
I took this photo last August-- I think it may be Spilosoma virginica, although in looking through the photos, congrua looks more like the photo I have b/c mine seems to be more spotted than most of the virginica samples shown. Congrua, however, doesn't seem as likely an option once I looked at the guide's note about range... since fall webworm and the spilosoma group look so close, I'm wondering if any of you could give a more definitive ID.

But is Agreeable Tiger Moth - Hodges#8134 (Spilosoma congrua) a maybe?

on second thought: hyphantria cunea

fall webworm moth hyphantria cunea
