red legged spider w/ tan abdomen - Dysdera crocata

Size: a little bigger than 1/2"
I lifted a piece of wood up and the shy spider tucked its legs in . The legs were a pretty orange/ red color and it's abdomen was tan . I would like to know what kind of spider it is and if it is dangerous . I have seen one spider like this in a garage running quite fast to escape . Thanks for any help with identification.
