Hi , I posted 2 pictures of the Dung beetle and a top view was needed in identification . This photo is a little different than the two I sent in , hopefully it will help . Thanks for all of your expert advice people . I started taking photos of bugs just 2 months ago . I have always loved nature and thanks to my camera and the macro mode I am much closer to the exciting world of bugs and plants and the wonders of life . Thanks again , Beth ... the shutterbug

do you have a dorsal shot - looking down onto it?

Hi Phillip , no ... sorry I don't have any other photos of him . I would of kept shooting photos of him , but as soon as he wriggled free of the web on his leg he put out his wings and flew straight up and away . I have been searching for more like him in my yard , but have not yet been lucky enough to see him again . At least I know that every angle taken helps in identification . I did not want to grab his leg to hold him hostage for shots , and I was thankful to get pretty good photos of him while I had the chance . Thanks for your comments and concern , Beth

keep up the
good work - sure, keep your eyes open for another. Either way, new one for the Guide.
