albino baby leaf leg bug - Leptoglossus occidentalis

albino baby leaf leg bug - Leptoglossus occidentalis
Manteca, San joaquin County, California, USA

Size: 1/4"
At first I did not know what kind of bug this was in my juniper bush , but I spotted many adult Leaf-legged bugs on the same bush . This baby is an albino and I thought that was neat . There were about 10 brown babies huddled around the same leaf . Does anyone know if albino bugs are common ? Also , I don't know much about the Leaf-legged bug, which I thought was some kind of beetle , other than he is a good looking bug with red eyes and long legs . It would be nice to know more about this unusual bug and whether or not it is a very common bug or not . Thanks for any replies ... Beth / the shutterbug
