It is hard to see but there is a brown mark on it's back like the lesser angle wing but I wasnt sure Ohio would be considered part of it's range

Yes:-)
I am not sure which of the two it is based on images alone, but both do occur in your area. I think I found the greater angle wing katydid to be the more common of the two in Cincinnati. Females can get to be real giants.

 
Lesser
I would go with Lesser Angle-wing. The males of Lesser have that brown on the stridulatory area while Greater does not.
