These are shots of a Square-headed Wasp that might be a male in the genus Tachytes or Tachysphex. We can see a sub-basal ventral depression on the fore-femora, in some of the shots. (maybe a member of the Tachytes-abdominalis-group)
If I key this guy in the Tachytes-abdominalis-group, this should be a male Tachytes abdominalis. Compare with the female specimen identified by DNA, on the BOLDSYSTEMS website: here
