Moved from Tachinidae.

Parasitic Fly
It's a Tachinidae, maybe just belonging to the genus Tachina.
It's very similar to the European Tachina grossa (http://www.biolib.cz/en/taxonimage/id1091/?taxonid=124382)

It sure does look similar
and "giant" and "gross" definitely apply! ;-)

Is that site for bugs in the Czech Republic?

A good bug
It may be ugly but its larvae feed on other insects so it is good to have them around.
We may have to discard a few of these images, they are a bit repetitive. Feel free to choose them yourself

No problem on weeding out,
and I'd be happy if someone else chooses which to discard, since you guys are probably better at knowing which features should be more pointed out. Thanks, and thanks for the info!
