by the way...
on the topic of grapevine beetles...i want to know the coppery coloured one that have totally infested my grapevine..i'll have to capture one for a description...

biggest beetle i've seen 'round here...
Both my son and i share the same interest in the 'bug world'..he actually found this-grapevine beetle,so of course we captured it and searched the net to find information on it.I found this site and info, where i read i forget..but the grapevine beetle we found was a tad brighter red,Its mid August..and was late afternoon when found.Hope that helps,unfortunatly..I would have taken a picture(have teen daughter that wears out batteries!lol)
I have many more 'bugs' to find info on..best site yet!!!!ty lora
