Leaf Miner Fly (Agromyzidae)

Leaf Miner Fly (Agromyzidae)
Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
August 14, 2007
What is this? It is very small, like a flea. Seen on low foliage near the edge of a pond at dusk.

Moved
Moved from Frit Flies.

not a chloropid
an agromyzid; anal cell present and ocellar triangle too small

Thanks, Keith

Frit fly (and that's not a typo)

Thanks, Ron
