Found under a rock.

Harpalus katiae
is indistinguishable from sibling H. caliginosus with these photographs. H. katiae is not yet known in KA, but is known in a few states surrounding KA.

 
I examined the female and she
I examined the female and she is definitely H. caliginosus.
