Going back to this one. This appears to be the other species with a distinctly pinched abdomen. It likely occurs in FL and GA with some rare finds in the east otherwise. The dark markings extending all the way to the pronotum on the thorax is a separation. And the thorax has a heavier marked appearance. Redder overall than neoternatus.
