Photographed at 6000-6500 feet in area of extensive dense rabbitbrush near Ponderosa Pine woods at muddy small (1-2 meters) pool -- sorry, previous submission of same/similar Poecilus would not have been made if I realized I had these pics

Moved, not Poecilus
these images rule-out Poecilus; moving tentatively to Agonum but I hope carabid specialists confirm.

Agonum; might be suturale or something fancier
the pics have no further diagnostic potential --hope the specimen had been saved
