Random, but this reminds me of another cool, obscure-ish bug there: Enicocephalidae. I once found them in Cornell Plantations (now Cornell Botanic Gardens) along Fall Creek. keep an eye out for those too! Good times bug-hunting in Ithaca!

I remember seeing that when I was first looking at photos of things I could expect to find around Cornell (your multitudes of images from Ithaca were very helpful!). Will have to make a point of heading over there next year to look for them!
