Green Leaf-Like Bug - Microcentrum retinerve - male

Green Leaf-Like Bug - Microcentrum retinerve - Male
West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 15, 2007
Size: 2"
This flew into my house about 8:00pm last night. I captured it and placed it on a Bamboo plant to photograph then we let it go. It was not to excitable and stayed on the plant to be photographed. It can fly very well. It was moderately humid, and the temperature was about 85 degrees outside.

Thanks All
For the comments and ID. I will have to look for another specimin, where I can do more detailed photographs.

Lesser Angle-wing Katydid
This is a male Angle-wing in the genus Microcentrum. The brown on the stridulatory area makes it a Lesser Angle-wing Katydid - Microcentrum retinerve.

Katydid
It's a katydid, looks like a Common True Katydid to me.
